About Us
THIS is Christianity, a project of Advocates for Love and Religious Freedom (ALRF), is a movement of individuals and congregations dedicated to educating the public on the dangers of Christian Nationalism and its stark contrast to the teachings and life of Jesus Christ.
Why Is This Important?
Christian Nationalism is a political ideology that defies the separation of church and state and advances the myth that the U.S. was established as a Christian nation.
Christian Nationalism runs deep within the Trump Administration and intertwines a narrow, fringe view of Christianity and political identity.
Christianity is a religion based on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus and follows his teachings of love, service, humility, & kindness.
As Christians, we believe it is our duty and responsibility to speak out against Christian Nationalism and its extremist views on gender, marriage, reproductive rights (and more) – views that they believe should be reflected in our government, our laws, and our culture.
As Christians, we believe in the separation of church and state.
